We visited the John Smith Shallop and Schooner Sultana in Chestertown, MD, last weekend, where these two historic reproduction boats were built and are currently hibernating for the winter. Rope rigging may be a real pain to use on a boat, but it sure does look beautiful. Chestertown is a great place to visit and good cruising destination.
