I crewed on a Cherubini 44 in the annual Constellation Cup race in Baltimore last Sat. (10/17), in near-freezing and full-rain conditions. For the first time ever, I was on the winning boat: Since this was a fundraiser for the USS Constellation, they give extra points for money raised, so even tho we placed 4th in our class (had a very heavy handicap), money talked and baby walked...They have a GREAT post-race party on the ship -- great band, food, open bar. If you're in the area, this is a wonderful event and excellent cause to support. No IPs in this race, but w/30kt winds, they would have been comfortable.
